PROJECT MANAGER
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic interior design / branding studio in Chicago. This role will oversee hospitality and residential projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design project management and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

Vacation Time: 10 Days / Paid (Accrued)
Ideal Start Date: Late June / Early July
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed project plans, including timeline, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and value engineering.
Monitor project expenses and report on financials.
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication.
Address client needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities where needed to ensure efficient project workflow.
Quality Control
Oversee all project phases to ensure quality standards are met.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues where needed.
Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Document and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, and reports.
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
4+ years of experience in project management within the interior design industry, preferably with a focus on hospitality and residential projects.
Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management software and industry tools, such as: Materio, GoogleDocs, Adobe Creative Suite, and Others
Basic Adobe Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator / Sketch Up / AutoCAD skills a plus.
Strong attention to detail & exceptional organizational skills
Ability to problem-solve and seek solutions with limited supervisor direction
Proactive self-starter – shows both initiative and detailed follow-through/completion
Positive and fun team player, utmost integrity, honesty, & no-drama/ego attitude a necessity
PMP Certification a plus.
